30 weeks over...forever to go

I cant believe Im finding time in this hectic week to write. But I realized its been too long!

First, let me fill you in on whats been going on...

Josh friend Grace moved back down from Orlando. She is a female Josh so its entertaining to have her around! Josh and I talked and we decided to offer Grace our couch. She is paying rent and will be here til the end of the year, or atleast until I go back to work. That way, Josh will not have to get a second job and miss spending time with our new baby.

Now, This week started off with a Family dinner at Nicks for his birthday. It was nice to talk with Lynore about what to expect with Labor and Delivery. Plus we talked about all the things she used and didnt use and Im glad to know I dont need to find space in this apartment for a glyder! I got to play with Nathan alot and my little nephew is crawling! I cant believe how cute he is!! Josh is enjoying playing with him too. Josh wanted to hold him and play with him more than anyone. And nathan adored him the entire time. Nathan is noticing my belly and likes to poke and step on it. So we all tell him he has to be nice to his cousin!

Monday I attempted to sleep but that didnt work. Grace and I rearranged my bedroom to better suit the awesome crib! Robin then came over bearing a wonderful gift - the mattress. So now her area is all set up and she can come home tomorrow and be set. Man, would I love to bring her home tomorrow!

So after putting the crib settings on Robin and I headed to Holy Cross to check out the Maternity ward. I went on a tour of Broward General (which is where I was born) last week. I decided Broward General will better suit my needs. So I will be pre-registering there on Wednesday after my 8month Ultrasound. =)

On Thursday I have my 30 week checkup with Dr Fahey. Than its off to visit the Pediatrician we picked out. It turns out my pediatrician that found my hip problem still practices at the same office. I am so thrilled. So were going to visit the office. During all this I am working Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday!! AHH

But Saturday is the baby shower!!! and I cant wait to see everyone.

Leilani is running out of room in my belly. I cant believe how big I am, and how big I keep getting each week. Its amazing to see the change, even day by day. She kicks more and more, and with a whole lot more strength. Plus she beats me up if im sitting the wrong way, around really loud sounds or bright lights on my belly. She knows what she likes and dislikes - and has no problem letting me know.

Im getting stuff for Hurricane season - such as a grill Josh wanted and a cooler. With these items bought, I just think about fun days at the pool or the park playing with Leilani like my family did with me when I was little. I cant believe how things are changing; and the things that once made me happy are nothing compared to the thoughts of our family in a few months =) But thats all for now. I promise to upload the new Ultrasound picture this weekend or next!
